Barbara’s Flowers
When Barbara’s Flowers owner Tara Simone was a little girl, she would help her mother (a florist in Crown Heights) plant and prune flowers each day. She paid attention to her lessons and gained the experience needed to run her own flower shop in NYC. Today, Simone’s Barbara’s Flowers’ floral emporium is in Harlem and it provides many lush arrangements in a stunning brick-walled boutique. You can pick up simple bouquets of Dutch Hydrangeas at Barbara’s as well as more contemporary arrangements of fuchsia Dendrobium orchids.
